Huawei’s E5 wireless modem enjoys brisk sales


As of May 2010, shipments of the E5 wireless modem (featured in the March 10 issue of the Manila Bulletin) have exceeded one million units and more than 1.3M units have been ordered and sold to 45 leading telco operators worldwide.

In the Philippines, Huawei’s prospects include the major telco operators which include: PLDT/Smart, Globe, and Digitel/Sun Cellular.
