Novatel Wireless keeps adding new distribution partners for its MiFi 2372 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot. Their latest “partner in crime” is Israel’s Pelephone Communications, which will effectively be the first mobile operator in the country to offer the device to its customers.
In addition to the MiFi product, Pelephone is also offering the Ovation MC998D Wireless Broadband USB Modem.
Both devices operate virtually anywhere in the world where a data-enabled GSM-based network works.
Novatel touts the MiFi 2372 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot as a representative of a new category of mobile broadband devices supporting rich application environment for both enterprise customers and consumers. The device creates a portable, personal cloud of high-speed Internet connectivity that can be shared between multiple users and up to five WiFi enabled devices.
As for the Ovation MC998D USB Modem, it provides HSPA+ connectivity, auto-install capability (MobiLink 3) and a microSD slot that accepts memory cards of up to 16 GB.
