Verizon PC770 hybrid 3G modem

Verizon has added an unusual two-on-one modem to their 3G adapters. The PC770 is designed for Novatel nested through which it can function as an ExpressCard/34 adapter for laptops and some modern, with an adapter to fit into older systems with PC card slots.

The new modem supports speeds up to EVDO Revision A and uses the Novatel technology, which apparently helps to maintain the speed for the simultaneous two-way traffic.

The card works with Windows PCs as well as some MacBook Pro and PowerBook. It is scheduled to reach retail stores on August 2 with a price of $100 if you join a contract by two years of data and data from a $50 rebate.
