SETTING MODEM BILLION PPPoE WINDOWS XP

Step 1:

click start control panel →
Step 2:

Double click the Network Connection icon
Step 3:

double click on Local Area Connection icon and click Properties
Step 4:

select Internet Protocol (TCP / IP) and click Properties
Step 5:

select obtain an IP address automatically and obtain DNS server address automatically, and then click OK

Click Next
Step 9:

Back to Home → Interface → Internet Setup
Ø → Bridge Encapsulation

Encapsulation column, for settingan bridge mode, select 1483 Bridged IP.
Virtual Circuit ID column, filled with 8 to VPI, VCI filled 81

Then, in the Apply


Ø → PPPoE Encapsulation

Encapsulation column, for settingan PPPoE, select PPPoA, 1483 Bridged IP 1483 Router IP or PPPoE
Virtual Circuit ID column, filled with 8 to VPI, VCI filled 81

On the PPPoE / PPPoA, the username: speedy diikuti@telkom.net number and password fields filled in accordance with the password

Then, in the Apply



Step 10:

Ø For a → Encapsulation PPPoE, directly to step 17

Ø To the Encapsulation → Bridge, click Start → run → to step 17
Step 11:

Step 13:

appear on the screen will display the following:
Type the ping, ping 10.85.250.1 eg press enter
Step 14:

appear on the screen will display the following:
Reply from 10.85.250.1 bytes = 32 time <1ms ttl = "255">
select connect to the internet
Click Next>
select set up my connection manually
Click Next>
select connect using broadband connection that request a user name and password
Click Next>
fill in the ISP name (example: speedy) can also name
Click Next>
add a checkbox on the shorcut this connection my desktop tu
. click finish>
