Today i got an email in which a person described about his problem which he was facing with his modem. So while giving the reply i thought to publish a post so that if my other readers are facing this similar problem then can also be helped.
Your only problem is the driver. First try to resolve the make/manufacture of your modem. Conexant provides drivers for three main modem types:
1. HSF modems which are primarily PCI Plug-In Cards used in desktop computers, and are also available for external modems.
2. AC-Link modems, although some destop computer may use AC-Link modems on Plug-In Cards or integrated into motherboard.
After finding your driver visit ttp://www.conexant.com/support/index.html and download the proper driver for your modem. If you are unable to detect which model it is then try following this link and download the file
